1. Who We Are

MIA Optimize is a SaaS product of MIA Global Studios, a digital agency registered in Nairobi, Kenya. We operate the platform at plus.miaglobalstudios.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account data: Your Google email, name, and profile picture via Google OAuth 2.0.
Phone number: Collected during verification via Africa's Talking SMS service.
Usage data: URLs you analyse, keywords entered, generated content, and feature usage.
Technical data: IP address, browser fingerprint, user agent, and device information collected for security.
Payment data: Transaction references only — card numbers and M-Pesa details are handled directly by Flutterwave or Paystack and never stored by us.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide the MIA Optimize platform and its features
To send weekly email reports (you can unsubscribe at any time)
To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use
To improve platform features and performance

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

Google (OAuth authentication, PageSpeed Insights API)
Africa's Talking (SMS delivery)
Flutterwave / Paystack (payment processing)
Groq, Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI (AI content generation — page content you submit for analysis is processed by these services)

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis results and generated content are retained for 90 days by default. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@miaglobalstudios.com.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@miaglobalstudios.com.

7. Security

We implement four layers of security: Cloudflare edge protection, .htaccess security rules, application-level session and CSRF protection, and environment-variable-based secret storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
